Bertie's Decorations









Tumbleweed blows by.





You can hear the sound of church bells
and dogs barking in the distance.











Bertie: I've had to use nuclear power for the lights.
Roy: Have you never heard of Marie Curie?
Bertie: Who's she?
Roy: She was born in...







Tumbleweed blows by.






...She became a...






You can hear the sound of church bells
and dogs barking in the distance.















...The important point is that she died and became a ghost...







...She haunted my uncle Willie's house for years.
She was always complaining to him about his nuclear reactor.
The dog kept scratching at it.
She said it would be the death of him.
    Bertie: And was it?
    Roy: No. The cigarettes got him in the end.
